On Wednesday, September 10th, Fairfield County GreenDrinks is Presented by WindStreet Energy and co-hosted by 2008 Best of the Gold Coast Winner, CT GreenScene LIVE and Connecticut's one and only Green ROCKS Inn.
Join us at Green ROCKS Inn, located at 415 Danbury Road in Ridgefield, CT from 6 to 9 p.m. for an incredible evening of networking, food, fun and earth-friendly fashion.
Starre Vartan, founder of Eco-Chick.com author of the new book, The Eco Chick Guide to Life: How to Be Fabulously Green, and rated one of the top 25 hottest Green Girls by Huffington Post will emcee an eco-fashion show with designs from some of the hippest, greenest designers around.
Hair and makeup for the fashion show will be expertly crafted by Shine Salon using organic and animal-friendly Aveda products. Music for the show by our favorite Spin Doctor, Brian Howard of The Daily Green.
Enjoy organic fare by by Natures' Temptations. Organic wine from Organic Vintages and non-alcoholic Steaz will also be served.

Also, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the same day, Vartan will be at Practically Green, a brand new eco-friendly lifestyle store located in downtown Ridgefield at 23 Catoonah Street. She will be signing copies of her newly released book, and talking with Practically Green shoppers about easy, affordable, practical ways they can support a sustainable future without skimping on style, comfort or aesthetic appeal.

The series kicked-off Saturday, May 17, 2008, and will continue on the second Saturdays in June, July, August, and September from Noon–3 P.M. at the Ridgefield office located at 360 Main Street in Ridgefield, CT. Several local organizations and vendors will participate in the events to share their best practices for eco-friendly living. FUN too, with live music, face-painting, popcorn, i-95 radio promotional give-aways and door prizes planned! All are welcome!
